Akums Drugs & Pharmaceuticals Ltd has plans for setting up its seventh state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for producing world-class oncology formulations in all dosage forms and is going to start the construction of the plant soon. Land for the same has already been acquired, according to a spokesperson of the company.
AKUMS' eighth state-of-the-art facility for R & D, Formulation Development Centre, Analytical Method Development & Stability Studies centre is also under way and will start its operations in the coming year, he added.
Akums has recently commissioned its sixth manufacturing facility - Maxcure Drugs & Pharmaceuticals Ltd plant, which is its wholly owned subsidiary company. Since India is richly endowed with herbs and medicinal plants, it gives Maxcure an added advantage to utilize and make best use of herbs for human health.
At Maxcure, the holistic and modern science unite to create products of herbal, food and neutraceuticals for the most prevalent diseases like hypertension, anxiety, obesity, diabetes, alopecia etc.
